Who We Are & What We Do
The Drivers Coach (TDC) provides a safe and welcoming environment for participants to explore the capabilities and limits of their high-performance sports cars while improving their driving skills. We are primarily focused on providing high performance driver training for those with capable cars, in the controlled environment of a road course.
There is NEVER any competition, wheel to wheel, timed events or training for such activities - but timed laps are done on Intermediate, Advanced and Solo Driver level programs to test students consistency.
All that is needed to participate is a safe, well maintained and reliable car, and any helmet (Motorcycle SA-M- 2005 or Auto Racing SA-2005 designations or newer).
With a focus on safety, coaching, learning and fun, TDC drivers are able to experience their cars at a higher level on a track than would be safe or prudent on the public highways.
As a result, drivers gain a new appreciation of their cars its capabilities, strengths and weaknesses; as well as their own skills as drivers and the need to develop those skills.
Oh, and by the way, have a TON OF FUN!
To Present High Performance Driving Education
as an entry point for men, women and teenagers
to experience non-competition Motorsports, and take it to the next level.
What we are doing is not new, but how we are doing it is. Everyone who drives with us has their own unique reason, whether its to check "drive on a racetrack" off their bucket list, re-take the hobby after putting the kids through collage, develop advanced driving skills, simply enjoy their own car on the track, or transition to actual competition.
Also, to provide motivation, a second childhood, add spice to relationships and possibly best of all a sense of fun discovered by many who may have lost it along the way.
It is a thrill to see new drivers as they learn and add skills, ultimately
developing into safe and competent high performance drivers.
